All reservists drilling, non-drilling, or retired (Gray Area), and personnel on the retired list (receiving pay) who do not possess a CAC may contact the nearest NRC Administrators or the My Navy Career Center (MNCC), at 1-833-330-MNCC (1-833-330-6622) for assistance with Reserve questions to include SOS, retirement application and forms.

When calling MNCC and after a brief introductory comments press "1" to speak with a Customer Service Agent:

1 -Caller will identify themselves as a Reserve member requesting information.
2 -The system or the customer service agent will read a privacy statement and request the reservists SSN or DOD ID number for verification of identity.

RETIREMENT WITH PAY APPLICATION.  We are experiencing a high volume of retirement applications at this time and processing times have increased.  Please keep in mind that all retirements are retroactive to the effective date.  We are working hard to complete all retirements as quickly as possible.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

For PRISE-R:  The Prior Service Re-enlistment Eligibility – Reserve (PRISE-R) Program is a Reserve accession program that allows Navy veterans (NAVET) and other service veterans (OSVET) to affiliate and enlist with the Selected Reserve (SELRES) into available ratings as set forth by Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) fiscal year recruiting goals, policies, training guidance, and revisions (as applicable). Bureau of Naval Personnel (BUPERS), Reserve Enlisted Community Management Branch (BUPERS-352) administers PRISE-R availability based on community and rating health, and coordinates PRISE-R “A” and “C” school training with NETC, Supply Chain Operations (N3).

All PRISE-R Sailors must obligate in the SELRES for a minimum of 4 years from the date of enlistment or affiliation. Ratings that require "A" and/or "C" school will have 18 months to attend school and complete the PRISE-R program.  All other ratings not requiring an “A” or “C” school will be a direct conversion to new rating.

PRISE-R Sailors may be eligible to receive an enlistment bonus. Bonus eligible ratings, amounts, and payment types are promulgated via COMNAVRESFORCOM message.

Refer to MILPERSMAN 1133-061 for additional PRISE-R information.
