holiday season.  Your service makes it possible for American families 
everywhere to enjoy the holidays in peace and security.

2.  The preparation, professionalism, and dedication you've demonstrated over 
the past year serve as an enduring reminder that our greatest strength will 
always be our people.  Whether you're home for the holidays or continuing the 
watch around the world, know that the American people stand with you and your 
loved ones in gratitude and admiration.
