RMKS/1.  The Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness issued 
guidance in reference (a) providing pre- and post-travel guidance for 
purposes of force health protection of Service Members, Department of Defense 
(DoD) family members, DoD civilian employees, and DoD contractor personnel 
traveling for purposes other than deployment.  Reference (a) cancels 
reference (b) superseding previous guidance and the Department of the Navy 
(DON) implementation promulgated in references (c) and (d).  References (c) 
and (d) are hereby modified.  Reference (e) directs the Chief of Naval 
Operations, Commandant of the Marine Corps, and Assistant Secretaries of the 
Navy to implement the updated travel guidance in reference (a) and to 
communicate the relevant contents to their Services and the DON civilian 
workforce.
