REF F IS NAVADMIN 086/22, NAVY TRANSITION TO TASK MANAGEMENT TOOL - PHASE III// RMKS/1. This ALNAV announces the timeline and plan for transition to a new Department of the Navy (DON) Task Management System. Per reference (a), the Office of the Secretary of Defense directed the DON to convert from the current system, the DON Tasking, Records, and Consolidated Knowledge Enterprise Repository (DON TRACKER), to the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2), commonly referred to as Task Management Tool (TMT). The Secretary of the Army is the Executive Agent for ETMS2. 2. The DON plans to transition from DON TRACKER (NIPR) to ETMS2 NIPR on 16 May 2022 and from DON TRACKER (SIPR) to ETMS2 SIPR on 1 June 2022. New task creation will be disabled in DON TRACKER (NIPR) on 16 May and disabled in DON TRACKER (SIPR) on 1 June. It is recommended that all commands currently using DON TRACKER conduct a comprehensive review of their NIPR and SIPR taskers and close out any inactive taskers in the system. 3. The DON has funded 14,400 licenses for initial operating capability in ETMS2. Representatives from the Secretary of the Navy's Administrative Office (SECNAV ADMIN), Director of Navy Staff (DNS), and Director of the Marine Corps Staff (DMCS) received an allotment of these funded licenses and have assigned initial operating licenses amounts to organizations within their purview to meet the basic user and approving official requirements in ETMS2. The priority for these licenses have been determined at the SECNAV Admin, DNS, and DMCS levels, and as more licenses are funded more commands will be brought on. 4. ETSMS daily user and Senior Leaders (O6/GS15 and above) who have been designated to receive licenses must complete training requirements in order to access ETMS2. The following training classes and training resources are available: a. Senior Leadership Training includes a training session between the Senior Leader, their staff (if desired), and the ETMS2 trainer. The session includes an overview of ETMS2, its features and capabilities, and what the Senior Leader's responsibilities will be within the system. Training will typically last between 30 to 45 minutes. Please contact usarmy.belvoir.peo -eis.list.don-etms2-support-team@mail.mil to reserve the class. b.
