RMKS/1.  It is with deep regret I announce the death of General Alfred M.
Gray Jr., U.S. Marine Corps, Retired, 29th Commandant of the Marine Corps on
20 March 2024.

2.  In accordance with references, flags on all Department of the Navy 
buildings, grounds, and naval vessels worldwide will be displayed at half-
staff from the day of death until the day of interment or 7 days, whichever 
is less.  When the date of interment occurs beyond the seventh day, the flag 
will again be lowered to half-staff on the date of interment.
