RMKS/1.  This NAVADMIN announces the release of reference (a), which provides 
policy for Navy personnel regarding the Post-9/11 GI Bill Educational 
Assistance Program authorized under chapter 33 of title 38, U.S. Code.

2.  Per reference (a), NAVADMINs 187/09, 203/09, 354/09, and 235/11 are 
canceled as reference (a) and reference (b) now incorporate the updated 
program information and procedures.

3.  All members who are interested in the Transfer of Education Benefits 
(TEB) provision of the Post-9/11 GI Bill are highly encouraged to review both 
reference (a) and reference (b). Reference (a) delineates Navy and service 
member responsibilities and includes a reference checklist of required 
actions for executing TEB.  Reference (b) provides the detailed program 
information formerly covered by the canceled NAVADMINs.
