Enlisted personnel who violate reference (a) must be processed for ADSEP in line with reference (b). Navy Military Personnel Manual (MILPERSMAN) Article 1910-233, Mandatory Separation Processing and MILPERSMAN Article 1910-142, Separation by Reason of Misconduct - Commission of a Serious Offense, have been updated in line with this message. The version of the MILPERSMAN in effect on the date that the violation occurred governs ADSEP processing. 3. For officers who violate reference (a), commands will report the officer misconduct to Commander, Navy Personnel Command for actions outlined in reference (b), MILPERSMAN Article 1611-010, Officer Performance, and reference (c), SECNAVINST 1920.6C, Administrative Separation of Officers, as appropriate. 4.
