Submission of requests for FY-18 special and incentive pays may begin upon release of this NAVADMIN in conformity with reference (d) and specific FY-18 special pay guidance. Officers will have 30 days from the release date of this NAVADMIN to submit requests for special pays effective 1 October 2017. Officers must meet the eligibility outlined in the FY-18 special pays guidance. All remaining officers not already under a consolidated special pays contract must submit a special pays request to transition from legacy special pays to consolidated special pay by 28 February 2018. 3. Specific special pays implementation guidance, administrative procedures, and U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery Special Pays point of contact information is available at http://www.med.navy.mil/bumed/Special_Pay/Pages/default.aspx.
