RMKS/1. This NAVADMIN announces modification to paragraphs 3 and 7 of 
reference (a).  The Active-Duty Officer Continuation Selection Boards will 
also convene to consider Lieutenant (LT) Unrestricted Line Aviation 
(designators 1310 and 1320) and LT Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAGC) for 
continuation.

2. Paragraph 3 of reference (a) is modified to read:  "3. LT Unrestricted 
Line (URL) Aviation (designators 1310 and 1320), Chaplain Corps (CHC), JAGC 
and Medical Service Corps (MSC):
    a.  2XFOS URL Aviation (designators 1310 and 1320), CHC, JAGC, and MSC 
LTs with less than 18 YOAS.  Officers selected for continuation will be 
continued for a period of 3 years, but not beyond retirement eligibility at 
20 YOAS.
    b.  2XFOS URL Aviation (designators 1310 and 1320) CHC, JAGC, and MSC LTs 
with 18 or more YOAS, as provided by law, will not be considered for 
continuation, but will be retained on active duty until retirement eligible 
at 20 YOAS.

3. Paragraphs 7e and 7f of reference (a) are modified to read:
    e.  Active O4 Staff Corps Promotion Selection Boards convene 15 May 2018.  
The Active O3 CHC, JAGC, MSC, and LDO Staff Continuation Selection Boards 
will follow these boards.
    f.  Active O4 Line Promotion Selection Boards convene 21 May 2018.  The 
Active O3 URL Aviation (designators 1310 and 1320) and LDO Line Continuation 
Selection Boards will follow these boards.

4.  This NAVADMIN will be canceled for record purposes on 30 September 2018.
