RMKS/1.  It is a pleasure to announce the winners of the 2018 Fleet Awards.

2.  The USS Arizona Memorial Trophy awards the recipient for their superior 
combat readiness and performance in the primary missions of strike warfare, 
surface fire support, and anti-surface warfare over the two-year award 
period.
    a.  The 2017-2018 winner is the USS MONTEREY (CG 61)
    b.  The 2017-2018 runner-up is the USS MUSTIN (DDG 89)

3.  The Arleigh Burke Fleet Trophy awards recipients for their superior 
performance and improvement in battle efficiency.  The 2018 winners are:

    a.  U.S. Fleet Forces:  USS LASSEN (DDG 82)
    b.  Pacific Fleet:  Patrol Squadron FOUR (VP 4)

4.  The Marjorie Sterrett Battleship Fund Award recognizes superior 
performance in the battle efficiency competition.  The 2018 winners
are:

    a.  U.S. Fleet Forces:  USS IWO JIMA (LHD 7)
    b.  Pacific Fleet:  USS ASHLAND (LSD 48)

5.  I commend the winning crews for their exemplary dedication to battle 
efficiency and warfighting.  BRAVO ZULU!
