SUBJ/2019 NAVY SHORE SAILOR OF THE YEAR//

RMKS/1.  I am pleased to announce the selection of AO1(AW) Kimber Dominguez 
as the 2019 Navy Shore Sailor of the Year.

2.  Petty Officer Dominquez was the MyNavyHR Sailor of the Year and was 
selected from a field of five outstanding finalists representing the finest 
Petty Officers serving ashore.  Congratulations to her and the other 
finalists:
    a.  YN1(SW/IW/AW) Lequisha Shines, representing Naval Shore Activities
    b.  NC1(AW/SW) Rebecca Beck, representing U.S. Fleet Forces Command
    c.  CTR1(IW/AW) Edward Vargas, representing U.S. Naval Forces 
Europe/Africa
    d.  UT1(SCW/EXW) Joseph Rubino, representing U.S. Pacific Fleet

3.  The competition was robust and reflected the highest caliber of Sailors 
serving ashore throughout the world.  Each of the finalists represented their 
commands and the entire enlisted community with distinction.

4.  Petty Officer Dominguez will be meritoriously advanced to Chief Petty 
Officer the week of 18 May 2020.
