RMKS/1. The purpose of this message is to announce the implementation
of DWOWS Version RLSE21.01.00.
2. DWOWS will be taken offline effective January 22, 2021 at 2200.
The new version of DWOWS will be available on Monday
January 25, 2021 at 0600.
3. DWOWS is a web based tracking system used by Military Pay
Operations (MILPAYOPS) to track workload for Navy Active and Reserve
Service Members. This system provides benchmark-reporting statistics
for management and technicians for turnaround time on case production
and backlog. The system provides a feature that allows users to upload
source documentation needed to work a case and provide an
audit trail.
4. Designed to handle both manual and electronic input files; the
files are processed on a daily basis.  For more guidance, please refer
to the DWOWS User Guide, located on the DWOWS Home page.
5. The following are the DO'S and DDO'S responsibilities:
A. Ensure that all users are aware of their responsibilities to
Protect disclosed PII data.
B. Ensure that all users are aware that they are responsible for
all cases/transactions preformed under their login and CAC-ID.
C. Report all DWOWS security violations to
DFAS.CLEVELAND-OH.JFL.MBX.DWOWS@MAIL.MIL.
D. Ensure that all users log into the system at least once each month
to prevent suspension of their DWOWS Case Management account.
If a user does not log into the system for more than 30 days, the
system will suspend their account and after 45 days of inactivity,
the system deletes the account.
6. A future MPA will be released to advice on DD Form 2875 submission.
