The purpose of this message is to inform Navy Field users of an update to the Account Management and Provisioning System (AMPS) that will impact their access to the Defense Workload Operations Web System (DWOWS). 2. The AMPS system has been updated to require Navy Field users to enter their servicing Accounting and Disbursing Symbol Number (ADSN) when requesting DWOWS access. This change is intended to improve the accuracy and efficiency of DWOWS case processing. 3. Additionally, Navy Field Input users will now be required to enter an External Authorizing Official (EAO) when submitting an AMPS request for DWOWS access. The EAO can be the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the user's Transaction Service Center (TSC) or Regional Support Center (RSC). A list of designated EAOs for Navy Field DWOWS users is required to ensure proper authorization and approval. 4. If a Navy Field Input user submits a DWOWS AMPS request without the approval of a designated EAO, the DWOWS Provisionals will verify the EAO's approval status. If the EAO has not been approved, the AMPS request for the Navy Field Input DWOWS user will be rejected. 5. Navy Field DWOWS users who currently do not have an ADSN listed in the user table of assignments will be prompted to submit an AMPS additional attribute request to add their servicing ADSN. Please note that users will not have their access removed while submitting their additional attribute requests. 6. 30 Days from the date of this MPA, we will reassess the Navy Field users who still have missing ADSNs to determine whether they need to submit an additional attribute request or have their DWOWS access removed. 7. It is the responsibility of Navy Field users to ensure that their ADSN and/or EAO information is accurate and up-to-date to avoid any disruptions to their DWOWS access. 8.
