Lifelink is the Navy Suicide Prevention Program's monthly newsletter and was introduced in June 2012. It is designed to assist Suicide Prevention Coordinators, Suicide Prevention Program Managers, and Behavioral Health Personnel with engaging Sailors on the topic of suicide prevention. Embracing the stance that suicide prevention is an "All Hands Evolution," the newsletter draws content related to Navy's 21st Century Sailor programs that may influence operational stress control and stress navigation. Additionally, Lifelink provides Suicide Prevention Branch updates and announcements, as well as a spotlight on proactive efforts made by commands to support every Sailor, every day.
*Navigator - The December 2020 Lifelink was the last edition of the newsletter. In January 2021, Culture of Excellence launched the Navigator which replaced the Lifelink. The Navigator monthly newsletter provides members of the Cultural Champion Network important and timely information, updates and resources to carry out their roles in supporting Sailors to help the Navy drive towards a Culture of Excellence.
