The Navy offers a variety of evidence-based programs, mobile applications, and educational courses designed to help you optimize your body composition, pass your Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA), and maintain long-term health.

Whether you are seeking a self-paced online course, structured group support, or digital tracking tools, use the approved resources below to meet your personal and professional fitness goals.

HPRC Guide to Getting into a Fighting Weight.  Weight guide that encourages you to reflect on how different areas of your life contribute to your weight and overall health.

HPRC Food and Activity Tracking Apps.  A quick easy to read chart that lists popular food-tracking apps and features.

Mission Nutrition Course*.  A standardized, evidence based 2-day course that focuses on improving your nutritional knowledge and awareness.

Official Navy PFA App (Information Sheet).  One stop shop for your mobile device that contains all of the Physical Readiness Program information.

Operation Supplement Safety (OPSS).  Provides information about supplements based on the best and scientific information to provide tools and resources to help users make informed decisions about dietary supplements. 

Navy Noom Digital Health Flyer CY2026*.  Sailors that are eligible to sign up for Noom can use this tool to dial in their nutrition, lower stress, or maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Navy Operational Fitness and Fueling System (NOFFS)*.  A high-performance system designed to align food intake directly with operational training loads to enhance stamina and prevent injury.

Nutrition Readiness for Mission Readiness Self-Study Course (FEB 2026)*.  Official, self-paced virtual training module designed to educate Sailors on nutritional fundamentals, healthy weight management, and performance fueling. It is now available on Navy eLearning, course number: OPNAV-PRP-NRFMR-1.0.

ShipShape Program*.  Focuses on healthy lifestyle modifications across nutrition, fitness, sleep, and mental health to establish sustainable weight loss.

*FEP Participants can either meet with an Dietitian or select from these Nutrition Education options, per Guide 10 to to complete the nutrition education section.
