Officer & Enlisted Community Management

 

The Active Officer Community Management (OCM) Division, BUPERS-31, works in support of CNO, N1, and Navy Enterprises to provide accession plans, promotion plans, retention plans, lateral transfer plans, force shaping plans, incentive plans, force modeling and forecasting, community health assessments, strategic-level options, and other analyses that are timely, data-driven, and accurate.  Officer Community Managers support all active component officer communities.

The Reserve Officer Community Management (OCM) Division, BUPERS-351, is responsible for the community management of 26 Selected Reserve (SELRES) and 8 Training and Administration of the Reserve (TAR) Communities. The Officer Community Managers work in support of CNO, N1, and Navy Enterprises to provide accession plans, promotion plans, retention plans, lateral transfer plans, force shaping plans, incentive plans, force modeling and forecasting, community health assessments, strategic-level options, and other analyses that are timely, data-driven, and accurate.

Active Enlisted Community Management, BUPERS-32,
 is responsible for “cradle-to-grave" monitoring and management of the health and welfare of our respective communities.  We ensure that our cognizant ratings recruit and maintain required manpower, and that the manpower is correctly distributed throughout the enlisted paygrades as required by valid billets. 

The Reserve Enlisted Community Management (ECM) Division, BUPERS-352, is responsible for more than 68 Selected Reserve (SELRES) and 21 Training and Administration of the Reserve (TAR) ratings. The Enlisted Community Managers work in support of CNO, N1, and Navy Enterprises to provide accession plans, promotion plans, retention plans, force shaping plans, AC2RC, AC2TAR, RC2ACTIVE, RC2TAR,incentive plans, force modeling and forecasting, community health assessments, strategic-level options, and other analyses that are timely, data-driven, and accurate.​
