The Business Systems Analysis Department is the customer liaison for manpower Information Systems (IS) functional requirements that support the manpower planning, programming and budgeting process. Responsible for functional management of Position Management systems, applications, and business Functional Requirements (TFMMS, NMRS, NOCS etc.). Serves on various manpower, system, and data governance boards to ensure systems/applications comply with applicable policies and regulations. Seeks feedback from stakeholders to identify problem areas or system deficiencies and optimize resources to meet the changing needs of the Navy. Provides functional assistance to the Program Manager (PMW-240) and Central Design Activity (CDA) in the design and development of new Position Management systems/ applications, ensuring consistency among systems. This approach provides improved data integrity and supports future Position Management functions.
