Cyber Warfare Technician (CWT). CWTs employ tactical and strategic capabilities to plan, develop, and execute offensive and defensive Cyberspace Operations; perform Threat Analysis, Digital Forensics, Network Exploitation, Research and Development, and Mission Planning; leverage tactical and strategic signals intelligence and cryptologic functions; produce and execute cyberspace effects; identify and report worldwide threats in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF), national, Fleet, and joint requirements; and control and safeguard access to classified material and information systems.
CWTs are deployed across a wide range of operational environments—from the Cyber Mission Force (CMF), Intelligence Community (IC), Special Operation Forces (SOF), and Navy assignments—serving in various roles ashore and at sea, either independently or as part of a larger team.
Personnel in the CWT community are eligible for varying special pays and incentives based on the individuals work role, proficiency level, and billet assigned. More information can be found below at the following links.

the Navy Information Warfare (IW) Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) program centers on maximizing combat effectiveness through support to fleet exercises, fleet experimentation, codification of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), and adhering to a strict professional ethos.
