Captain Nina Nicasio, a native of Columbus, Ohio, is a 1995 graduate of the University of Louisville, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and Economics. She is also a 2003 graduate of the University of Phoenix with a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources, a 2005 graduate of the University of Arkansas with a Master of Science in Operations Research and Systems Analysis and a 2009 graduate of the Naval War College with a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies with a minor in African Affairs. She is certified as a Professional Human Resources (PHR).
