Seabees

PERS 401C

The Seabee detailers are responsible for management and detailing enlisted Seabees from E1-E9 in 7 construction ratings.  Major operational units include 6 Naval Mobile Construction Battalions (NMCB), 2 Amphibious Construction Battalion (ACB), and 2 Underwater Construction Teams (UCT) .  Seabees have shore duty at stations throughout the Navy providing their construction skills to maintain the shore infrastructure.  Seabees also support Camp David, State Department, and DEVGRU.

There are currently 5 Seabee ratings that are eligible for Sea Duty Incentive Pay (SDIP). Please contact your detailer to confirm eligibility.

Communication with your detailer should happen 15-18 months prior to your PRD.
