Article 3501.61
Skirt, Blue, Formal (Females) 
 
a.  Description. 
A plain, blue, floor length, six-gored skirt made of authorized fabric, with optional slit(s) on either side no higher than mid-calf (Figure 3501.61-1).
 
b.  Correct Wear. 
Wear side zipper on the left. For shipboard restrictions, refer to article 1101.5. The wear of hosiery is optional (article 3501.29). Hosiery when worn will be flesh tone. When not wearing hosiery, no-show socks or foot liners will be worn for hygiene purposes and to minimize foot abrasions and blisters.
 
c.  Ownership Markings (Optional for Officers/CPOs). 
Center in front, inside on the waistband.
