Description and Wear of Uniform Components

 
Article 3602.3
Skirt, Black, Beltless, Service Uniform (Female E1-E6) 

 
a.  Description 
Black in color and made of 75% Polyester/25% Wool fabric with zipper centered in the back and two side pockets (Figure 3602.3-1).


 b.  Correct Wear
 Wear with the zipper centered in the back. For shipboard restrictions, refer to article 1101.5. Skirts shall fit comfortably without pulling open the side pockets and center back closure. Length may range from 1-1/2 inches above to 1-1/2 below the crease behind the knee. The wear of hosiery is optional (article 3501.29). Hosiery when worn will be flesh tone. When not wearing hosiery, no-show socks or foot liners will be worn for hygiene purposes and to minimize foot abrasions and blisters.
 

c.  Ownership Markings
Center surname, first initial and middle initial (if applicable) inside the skirt on front pocket.
