This page houses resources for Suicide Prevention Coordinators (SPCs) and key influencers, Sailors, families and members of the Navy community to reenergize the conversation about stress and suicide and motivate positive behavior.

Includes tips promoting positive coping skills and self-care, psychological and physical well-being, peer support and more. Can be repurposed as Plan of the Day Notes. FY-23 1 Small ACT Toolkit ​Updated for 2022 Navy Suicide Prevention Month and FY-23, this toolkit includes facts about suicide prevention, social media content and graphics, engagement and event ideas, sample plan of the week notes and additional resources to promote a culture supportive of psychological health, emotional wellness, protective factors, connectedness and seeking help on a local level.

Lethal Means Safety Fact Sheet ​This fact sheet provides key information on the Navy’s guidance for commanders and health professionals on reducing access to lethal means through voluntary storage of privately owned firearms and on proper disposal of prescription medications.

Lethal Means Safety Posters  The first two posters in a series encouraging safe storage of highly lethal methods of suicide during times of increased stress. Print size is 8.5"x11", however, full-sized versions (16"x20") are available for ordering from the Naval Logistics Library.

Security Clearance Posters ​This poster describes facts related to seeking help and security clearance eligibility, referencing Standard Form 86 (SF-86) question 21. It explains what types of counseling are not required to be reported.

Warning Signs Poster ​This poster describes the most common warning signs of suicide, using the acronym IS PATH WARM. Remember, you don't have to see every sign to ACT. Print size is 8.5"x11", however, a full sized version (16"x20") is available for ordering from the Naval Logistics Library.
