BECOMING AN AVIATOR, NAVAL FLIGHT OFFICER, OR AERIAL VEHICLE OPERATOR The Aviation Officer community takes prospective flight students primarily from: United States Naval Academy (USNA), Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) units, Officer Candidate School (OCS) and various other accession sources. All aspiring Aviation Officers commence initial flight training at Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL. For details on flight training please go to the Chief of Naval Air and Training web site.
