Welcome to the Public Affairs community homepage. The purpose of this website is to provide a centralized, easy to use source of professional information to assist Active 1650-designated Public Affairs Officers (PAOs).
 
Assignments & Placement (PERS-448)
PERS-448 Assignments Branch of the Navy Personnel Command handles detailing of Active Duty PAOs.  PERS-448 also conducts the Placement Officer function representing specific Public Affairs commands.  The Head Detailer can be contacted at 901-874-4091.  The Junior Officer Detailer can be contacted at 901-874-4099.
