 Function

Conducts Post Selection Board actions relevant to officer promotions, senior enlisted advancements, administrative screening boards and Naval Reserve commissioning appointments.  The Security section serves as the principal liaison with Department of Defense Investigative agencies, the Department of the Navy Central Adjudication Facility, OPNAV, and the major Navy commands in personnel reliability, suitability, and security clearance matters.
