a. Description. White in color, long sleeved and made of 60% Cotton and 40% Polyester fabric. with long sleeves and a stand collar.
b. Correct Wear
(1) Wear untucked with Service Dress Blue slacks or skirts and draped comfortably over the hips and chest, all buttons fastened without fabric stretching or gapping in the front, back or sides. The sleeve length will extend to cover the wrist bone, but not beyond the first knuckle at the base of the thumb. The collar will fit comfortably around the neck and facilitate proper wearing of the black necktab. Officers and CPOs wear appropriate soft shoulder boards on the epaulets
(2) The length of the overblouse should be sufficient to render a salute without the bottom hem rising and exposing the wearer’s waist. It should also not be of such length to extend and be visible below the bottom of authorized outerwear (sweater, jacket or coat) worn over it.
