Detailing

Got Orders? Here’s the Timeline.

1.  One year from projected rotation date, contact the Detailer Shop with your tour preference.

     2.   New Accession EDOs going to their qual tour will SLATE twice a year (June & December).  If your detachment is between Mar and Aug you will play the June SLATE the year prior.  The December SLATE is for members detaching between Sept and Feb of the following year.

     3.  Check the EDO Slate, on EDOmain, for information on billet openings at your PRD.   

     4.  The Detailer shop’s objective is to have orders negotiated, proposed, and released 6-12 months prior to desired detachment month.  Please keep in mind the current fiscal environment may impact this goal.

 

Career Paths  
Tours and competencies are only a guideline.  It is recommended that EDOs work with their mentors and the detailing shop to tailor their career planners to achieve their individual career goals. Additional specialized fields within the EDO community are provided below:
