RESERVE RETIREMENTS
PERS-913 coordinates and administers personnel matters involving Navy Reservists on inactive duty (including Standby Reserve Active/Inactive, Individual Ready Reserve (IRR), Selected Reserve (SELRES), and provides counsel on matters relating to interpretations of statutes and regulations which govern enlisted Reserve personnel administration.
PERS-913 also implements policies and procedures affecting management and administration of the Navy Reserve to include selection, appointment, assignment, promotion, advancement, retirement, attrition, and status of inactive duty Navy Reservists. Develops policy guidance to properly administer selected reserve personnel requests in compliance with existing statute.
PERS-913 processes a variety of SELRES enlisted manpower requests including:
•SELRES ADMINISTRATIVE SEPARATIONS (ADSEP)
•VTU/IRR HYT WAIVERS
•AGE 60 WAIVERS
•RE-4 UNSAT ENLISTMENT WAIVERS
•CONDITIONAL RELEASES (DD FORM 368)
•TIME IN GRADE (TIG) WAIVERS E7 – E9
