Captain M. Juanique Wallace
Executive Officer, NAVMAC
CAPT M. Juanique Wallace, from Albany, GA, enlisted as a Fireman Recruit in April 1991. After attending Electrician’s Mate “A” School at Naval Training Station, Great Lakes, Ill, she was meritoriously promoted to EM3 onboard AFDM 7 Sustain in 1993. In 1995, while onboard USS L.Y. Spear (AS 36), she was selected for the Broadened Opportunity for Officer Selection and Training (BOOST) program and conferred a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Florida A&M University. CAPT Wallace has attained a Master of Science in Operation Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College and holds a Doctorate degree in Organization and Management specializing in Human Resource Management from Capella University.
As a Surface Warfare Officer, she was Administrative Officer in COMDESRON 14; Assistant DCA, SWOS Training Officer, and the first female assigned to USS Philippine Sea (CG 58); and Training Officer in USS Doyle (FFG 39). She laterally transferred into the Human Resources Community in November 2004.
As a Human Resource Officer, CAPT Wallace was an Officer Recruiter and Officer Programs Officer (OPO) in NTAG Mid-America (St. Louis, MO) and later assigned to the Distribution Management, Statistics and Allocation Division (PERS 45) in Navy Personnel Command, Millington, TN. She also served as an MPTE Program Analyst in the Office of Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV N10) and Division Director of Operation Analysis in Navy Recruiting Command’s headquarters. She was Commanding Officer in NTAG Jacksonville until April 2020 and is currently J1-P3 (Plans, Policy, and Programs) Division Chief in USSOCOM located in Tampa, FL.
CAPT Wallace’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (three), the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five), and various unit citations. She maintains currency in her Professional Human Resource Certification, is a certified SHRM Professional (SHRM/CP) and is trained to certify Resilience Building Leaders (RBLP-T).
