Captain Tricia A. Cronau
Commanding Officer, NAVMAC
Captain Tricia A. Cronau, a native of Greene, New York, graduated Cum Laude from the College of the Holy Cross in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  She was commissioned through the Holy Cross NROTC program and designated a Naval Aviator upon completion of advanced flight training in June 2002
 Her first operational tour was with Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron Fifteen (HS-15) in Jacksonville, FL where she flew the SH-60F/HH-60H Seahawk.  She successfully logged over 800 flight hours while performing varied missions to include anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, naval special warfare, combat search and rescue, humanitarian relief, and MEDEVAC.  She embarked with CVW-17 aboard USS John F Kennedy (CV-67) and deployed in 2004 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Assigned to Joint Task Force Katrina and Rita in September 2005, she supported search and rescue operations and delivery of critical supplies following Hurricane Katrina. She deployed again in November 2005 to Camp Buehring, Kuwait with Navy Air Ambulance Combat MEDEVAC Detachment 2515.
 
In June of 2006, CAPT Cronau transferred to Navy Personnel Command in Millington, TN where she served as flag aide to the commander, and assistant aviation officer community manager.  Following this assignment, she transferred to the Human Resources (HR) Community.  Her HR assignments included:  Administrative Officer, Director Navy Staff, Washington, D.C.; Joint Officer Management Assistant Branch Head and Education and Subspecialty Management Branch Head, Navy Personnel Command, Millington, TN; Training Department Head, USS GEORGE H. W. BUSH (CVN-77), Norfolk, VA; Commanding Officer, United States Military Entrance Processing Command 5th Battalion and Seattle Military Entrance Processing Station, Seattle, WA; HR and Permanent Military Professor Officer Community Manager, Bureau of Navy Personnel, Millington, TN.
Captain Cronau holds a Master’s degree in Military Operational Art and Science from Air Command and Staff College, Master of Science degree in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas and is certified as a professional in human resources.
Her personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Army Commendation Medal, Joint Achievement Medal, and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards).
