HM E1 - E7 TAR Detailer
HMC(SW/AW/IW) Cassandra A. Thompson

Notes from the Detailer:

5 KEYS TO THE DETAILING PROCESS
1. Read NAVADMIN 231/17.
2. Update your personal information on MY NAVY ASSIGNMENTS.
3. Select up to 7 jobs during each month of the negotiating process.
4. Be flexible when choosing duty stations.
5. Communicate with your detailer.

NAVADMIN 231/17: “The Manning Control Authorities (MCA) identify jobs to advertise/fill in order to optimize Fleet manning.  These are the only jobs available for detailing, and they are must fills in order to support operational readiness. Detailers will attempt to find a match using the desired selections of the Sailor first.  However, Fleet readiness will ultimately be the guiding factor and detailers may have to select Sailors who have not applied for an assignment or are early in their orders negotiation window, if they are the best fit.”
- Up to 3 Cycles for applications are possible, once selected for orders, application phase is complete and selection CAN NOT be changed. You may be selected for a job in any look, even jobs you did not apply to in a non-voluntary status.
- Only OPEN jobs are available for applications, no guarantee that CLOSED jobs will open next cycle or in a future cycle, detailers can only fill OPEN jobs.
- You can only apply for TAR jobs.
- All 1306 requests should be submitted 13-15 months prior to your current PRD. PRD extensions will only be approved for 12 months.
