Enlisted Active Component to Reserve Component (AC2RC) Transition

For all sailors interested in transitioning from AC, please inform your Active Duty Command Career Counselor, or reach out to the Navy Reserve Recruiting offices in your area.

Career Way Points Module

1. The member's Active Duty CCC must submit a SELRES C-Way application.
2. Once approved, the service member will be contacted by NRRC who will begin the process of SELRES affiliation.
3. Once the completed affiliation paperwork is received by the NRRC representative, they will conduct an affiliation package review to ensure all documentation is accurately completed.  When the review process is completed, the recruiter will email the service member a “Completed Package Email” with the service member’s NRC POC.
4. Once the service member’s loss date posts, it can take three to six weeks after their Expiration of Active Obligated Service (EAOS) to receive orders from the member’s NRC. For all questions or concerns, the service member may reach out to their NRRC representative throughout the entire process, up until the service member is “gained” officially in NSIPS – DSC 200.

Members within 90 days of Separation without C-Way Quota OR Sailors over 14 years of service

1. The CCC must submit an EPAR with the Commanding Officer’s endorsement to the SELRES Enlisted Community Manager (ECM) (BUPERS-3152).

Please reference MILPERSMAN 1306-1501, the governing instruction on the Enlisted Active Component to Reserve Component (AC2RC) transition procedures.
For specific questions or concerns, please have your Active Duty CCC contact your local NRRC representative.
