Earmuffs

a. Description
Plain, Navy blue or black cloth earmuffs with or without black elastic retainer (Figure 3501.22-1).

b. Correct Wear
Wear earmuff retainer underneath the cap/hat.

c. Ownership Markings (Optional for Officers/CPOs)
Surname, first initial and middle initial centered on the inner side of the earmuffs.

Note
The earmuffs are worn with the following outerwear only: reefer, overcoat/bridge coat, peacoat, all weather coat, cold weather parka and NWU parka.
