All earrings (ball, pearl, or diamond) must be 4mm - 6mm (approximately 1/8 inch - 1/4 inch).  Ball earrings may be plain with shiny or brushed matte finish, screw-on or post type.  Pearl earrings have one small single white pearl. Diamond earrings must be white diamond, round cut.

Female Sailors may wear earrings that are silver, yellow or white gold, white pearl or colorless diamond while in uniform.  Synthetic variants of pearl or diamond earrings are acceptable if they meet color and size requirements.  Only one earring may be worn per ear, centered on the earlobe.
