Black Fleece Liner

a. Description
The 100% polyester, detachable Black Fleece Liner (see Figure 3603.11–1) provides extra comfort and protection when worn with parka during extremely cold conditions.

b. Correct Wear
The Black Fleece Liner is authorized to be worn as an optional standalone outer garment with the NWU Type III. When wearing as an optional outer garment, the fleece will be worn over the NWU shirt/blouse, zippered at least 3/4 of the way and will include a sewn-on rank tab and slip-on rank insignia for E4 through O10 personnel. When worn as an outer garment, the NWU shirt/blouse will not extend below the bottom of the fleece. As a liner, the fleece will be worn zippered into the Parka to provide extra comfort and protection during inclement weather conditions.

Last name, first initial and middle initial (if applicable), on label provided inside the Fleece Liner.
