NACIC

PERS-00D detachment, Navy Absentee Collection and Information Center (NACIC), operates the Navy Deserter Information Point (NDIP) 24 hours daily.  NACIC utilizes investigation to surveil and apprehend deserters and absentees of the Navy in our effort to return these members back to military control and jurisdiction.  In our mission, we provide policy, analysis, oversight, audit, investigation, apprehension and transport of deserters and absentees for return to military control.  NACIC completes it’s mission through close collaboration with parent commands, criminal investigative services and local law enforcement agencies.
