The IG, a Special Assistant to the Chief of Naval Personnel (CNP), advises CNP on all inspector general matters. The IG provides direct support to CNP and DCNP by administering the Hotline, Audit Liaison, Inspection, and Managers' Internal Control program and functions within the MyNavy HR organization. We act as the focal point for action on inspections, hotline investigations, audit reports, internal controls, command evaluations, and related matters. Our office ensures coordination on such matters with oversight agencies from DON, DoD, and other federal agencies, and within the MyNavy HR organization.
