ADOS Guidance for Reservists

Reservists must apply for an ADOS assignment with the command POC listed in the ADOS opportunity posting; they do not apply for ADOS through PERS-462. Reservists can find advertisements for ADOS orders on the U.S. Navy Reserve ZipServe website.

Reservists should utilize their command RPDs / Chain of Command to the maximum extent possible.  Reservists must meet eligibility criteria for ADOS as outlined in OPNAVINST 1001.20 series to be considered for the assignment.

After the supported command selects a Reservist to fill the requirement, ADOS orders will be issued by PERS-462 if the Reservist meets eligibility criteria.  Reservists can print their orders from the Navy Marine Corps Mobilization Processing System (NMCMPS) link in BUPERS Online (BOL).

Requests for orders modification (ORDMOD) must come through the supported command and RPD.
