Nominative Billets

 


Nominative billets include NSCS Instructor Duty, Flag Aide, Presidential, Naval Reactor, or PEP.  Interested personnel must submit an application package via email to be considered for one of these positions.
For all packages: REMOVE PII (i.e., Social Security Number, Last Four of SSN, Date of Birth, etc.) FROM ALL DOCUMENTS PRIOR TO SUBMISSION.  Documents should be submitted in as one PDF in the order listed per each program.         

NSCS INSTRUCTOR DUTY

Contact the LT/LTJG Shore Detailer if interested in a challenging, rewarding job in the "Cradle of the Corps."

2. Letter(s) of Recommendation (O6 Supply Corps Officer preferred)
3. Personal statement (i.e., "Why I want to be an instructor" 1-2 paragraphs) 
4. Current Bio
5. Color full length photo (official photo)
6. ODC, OSR, PSR
7. All previous officer FITREPs

 

FLAG AIDE   

Flag aide duty is an is a challenging but highly rewarding tour that provides an outstanding opportunity to gain experience and insight on how the Navy operates at the strategic level.  As an assigned Aide, officers handle the Admiral or General Officer's matters, which provides tremendous professional development.  Interested officers should contact the LT/LTJG Shore Detailer.
Application packages must include:

1. Cover page (include PLAD, official address, work and home numbers, and work e-mail)
2. Letter(s) of Recommendation (O6 Supply Corps Officer preferred)
3. Current Bio
4. Color full length photo (official photo) 
5. ODC, OSR, PSR
6. All previous officer FITREPs

 

PRESIDENTIAL

Contact the LT/LTJG Shore Detailer if interested in a challenging and rewarding Presidential staff opportunity.
Application packages must include:

1. Cover page (include PLAD, official address, work and home numbers, and work e-mail)
2. Letter(s) of Recommendation (O6 Supply Corps Officer preferred)
3. List of 3-4 references (not letters of reference, just a list of names with  contact info)
4. Current Bio 
5. Personal Statement (expressing your desire/fit for position)
6. Color full length photo (official photo)
7. ODC, OSR, PSR
8. 
All previous officer FITREPs

NOTE:  Top Secret + security clearance eligibility is required for the White House related billets (SF86: Signed Questionnaire for National Security).


PERSONNEL EXCHANGE PROGRAM (PEP)  

Contact the Supply Corps Career Counselor at supply_corps_cc@navy.mil if you are interested in sharing experience, professional knowledge and doctrine with foreign military services to enhance inter-service relationships.  PEP billets will be advertised at least 12 months prior to the PRD.

Application packages must include:
  1. Current Bio with SDB photo
  2. Personal Statement (expressing your desire/fit for position)
  3. Letter(s) of Recommendation (O6 Supply Corps Officer preferred)
