Internship Selection

Selection is made based on an officer’s sustained superior performance, their PRD, and billet availability.  Officers will only be selected to what they listed on the Preference tab of the Internship Billet list.

Selection is promulgated via FLASH from the Chief of the Supply Corps. Upon selection, officers can expect to rotate to their internship once the minimum tour length is met and a relief is properly identified.
For more information, please contact the Internship Program Coordinator (IPC).

Note: Intern applicants must halt orders negotiations with the LT/LTJG Shore detailer and/or the Operational Detailer.  Intern applicants who are not selected for an internship may begin negotiating for orders upon release of the intern screening results.  We are currently gapping around 15% of internships and LT/LTJG shore billets, ensuring fill of operational and control grade billets.

2027 Naval Reactors Internship Opportunities
