Welcome to the Reserve Component (RC) Aerospace Maintenance Duty Officer (AMDO) Community Managers page. This website page is designed to provide helpful information
on the RC AMDO Community including general guidance on the accession process for prospective candidates as well as information for current officers.

RC AMDO Officers work in a variety of different naval aviation assignments, providing aviation maintenance management and logistical support to Organizational, Intermediate
and Depot Level Activities throughout the fleet. RC AMDO’s duties cover a wide spectrum of the Naval Aviation Enterprise, including professional acquisition and leadership billets
at both NAVAIR and SPAWAR.  

RC AMDO accessions are limited to the minimum standards outlined in the AMDO Program Authorization located in the links on the bottom of this page. There you will also find
important career links along with community specific professional milestone information. The AMDO professional qualification path takes multiple years to achieve and should
consist of diverse billet assignments that provide increased challenges and complexity commensurate with the rank associated with each position.
